Welcome!
The show SQUAMATA is organized by herp and terraristik lovers, a trade show where you can find exotic animals like snakes, lizards, turtles, geckos, amphibians... as well as everything you need to raise them and take care of them.
It's first purpose is to divulgate this knowledge and passion to everyone with the hope to let the Italian herpetoculture grow more and more, and to let know to the public the herpetofauna of Italy, also with the cooperation of cultural associations such Linnaeus Association (for animal healts), Italian Gekko Association and A.P.A.E.
This event born, also, with the intent to create a friendly "meeting point" for all the terraristic lovers, a moment where meet and know each other, trading experiences and advices, as well as live animals and merchandising, in a comfortable context.
The geographic position of Ozzano dell’Emilia, near Bologna, makes the show easily accessible by train or car.
This edition of SQUAMATA, like previous ones, will take place in a singe day, like past editions, this is for concentrate resources of organizers and staff, but mainly for exhibitors and visitors, that in this way can optimize their travel, and for animals health.
What can you fins at the expo?
- Animals like: snakes, geckos, chamaleons, other saurians, turtles, insects, spyders, scorpions, shirms, frogs, fishes, etc.;
- books and magazines;
- equipment, accessories, terrariums, cages, faunaboxes, heaters, thermostats, lights, plants, substrates, etc.;
- gadgets, souvenir, etc.

How to get SQUAMATA: highway and railway
To reach the SQUAMATA herp show, at the "Palazzo dello Sport" of Ozzano dell'Emilia (BO), in Viale 2 Giugno n.3, is very easy and simple, being near Bologna.
By highway:
Coming from OVEST (direction Milano, Firenze, Padova e Bologna). Exit "San Lazzaro", follow direction "Via Emilia" on the left. Once you are in Via Emilia go to the left following "Rimini". As soon as you enter in Ozzano dell’Emilia, turn right in "Via San Cristoforo" and than to second way on the left: "Viale 2 Giugno". A few meters in front of you, on the left, there's the "Palazzo dello Sport".
Coming from EAST (direction Rimini and Ravenna). Exit Castel San Pietro Terme, follow direction Via Emilia, on the left. Once in Via Emilia go to the right following Bologna. Enter in Ozzano dell’Emilia, turn left in Via San Cristoforo (last trafficlight) and then to the second on the left: Viale 2 Giugno. A few meters ahead of you, on the left, there's the “Palazzo dello Sport”.
By train:

(The train-station of Ozzano dell'Emilia is not provided with ticketing, equip for retunr ticket previously) Alternatively, train station of Bologna, and check the site http://www.atc.bo.it/ for autobus to get to Ozzano dell’Emilia (line 101 and 94).
Costs, time, trade-show regulation, conditions and limitations
Visitors rates:
Visitors entrance ticket costs €8,00.
Children younger than 6 years old, and persons older than 80 years old, must not pay the entrance ticket.
Children from 7 to 12 years old will pay €5,00.
Opening time for visitors: from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM

Exhibitors rates:
Each table cost €42,70 for table (maximum 9 tables for enterprises and merchants, maximum 2 tables for private).
Tables measure about 2,2 meters. The electricity comes automatically with the reservation.
We will assign free pass to exhibitors, according to the following scheme:
- up to 3 tables, will be provided up to 2 pass;
- up to 5 tables, will be provided up to 3 pass;
- mote than 6 tables, will be provided up to 4 pass;
- Additional pass will be purchased, paying the cost of the ticket (€5,00).
Saturday 15th June from 04.30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Sunday 16th June from 07.00 AM to 9:00 AM.
