Female, particular and rare specimen of amazon basin, bought in June 2005 as adult.
This is a specimen from a little and isolated locality, named Marajò Island, in Parà state, Brasil, a portion of land surrounded by a Rio, that give it a name of "Island".
Specimens from this locality are characterized by dark and strong green colour, reduced pattern, bright lemon yellow on belly and sides and yellow scales in and around dorsal pattern, distinguishing characteristic of this locality.
This specimen has a thin and yellow dorsal stripe, composed by only one row of scales, that run from first to second third of her body, but with passage to time she become darker, and this yellow line is little visible.
This specimen is more then 190cm in length, and weigh around 2,2Kg... with very long teeth!
She gave birth in September 2008 for first time: 11 alive, 3 stillborn, 1 slug. Very good result.
