(Elaphe guttata guttata)

This amelanistic motley-striped female was born in 2001 in Holland, and we bought she in 2003 as sub-adult specimen. She show homogenised coloration typical of motley and striped pattern. Her pattern is almost completely motley, with hurricane in first portion of body, and little stripe in last part , near the tail. She breed several times, and in every hatchings (always paired with Lupin) babies that have atypical pattern were present, usually one or two in every litter. This strange and atypical babies usually showed a thin dorsal stripe, or glaring white around motley/striped pattern (white scales aren't present in motley-striped pattern). This babies, usually, died after few days, or died inside egg.
