we and our passion

Glenda
Morelia viridis (Cyclops)

Female, bought in October 2003 as sub-adult specimen... not eating specimen. She is WC, but imported about one year and half before we bought her. She were very thin, but not emaciated, she were aggressive: she bite everytime and everything, but after a relatively short time of good acclimatization, and after start to eat, she become calm and docile. She is from mainland of Irian Jaya, from Cyclops mountain. Colour is strong but not dark green, large and uninterrupted dorsal blue pattern that shed after shed, year after year, become larger and suffused toward sides (it seems to be sprayed on her), regular green triangles are present in blue stripe (empty triangles), and blue spots on sides. All this blue were present only in little percentage when she was young. Yellow-cream belly, few black on the tail, little yellow on her nose. I think this is the viridis which we are more loyal.
She lay eggs for first time in June 2008.
